Tips For Selling Your Home
When you put your house on the market, there are two things you want. The best price you can get and a quick sell. If you are thinking about listing your home for sale, or you have it listed and it just isn't selling, I have some easy tips that will help. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get more money for your home.
- Paint - Paint your walls, especially if you have bright colors. You may love the red kitchen, but potential buyer may not. Keep the colors neutral
- Before showing your house or taking pictures of it, clean up the clutter.

- Spruce up the outside. Keep the yard looking neat and trimmed. Decorate areas that are not appealing to the eye. See below
- When you are taking pictures of your home, make sure you take inside and outside. Even if the inside has issues, still take pictures. If I am looking at houses on Real Estate sites and there are only picture of the outside, I don't even consider it. I want to see what you are hiding.
- When the Realtor is showing your home, don't be there. Definitely make sure children are not there.
- Before showing your house, make sure it looks neat and inviting. Burn some candle that smell like baked goods in the winter. In the summer, use clean scents.
You will be surprised what a difference these small changes can make.
